In this course contemporary accounting issues will be covered, focusing
on financial analysis, earnings management and the evolving
international accounting standards. In finance, there is detailed focus
on the core areas of; investment appraisal, financing of the firm and
payout policy and this course examines current practical issues in these
areas. The course will also identify the risks that companies face and
how to manage them.
